Haven, Inc., proudly announces "Hoofprints" ~ our summer equine~assisted growth and learning programs. Throughout
several weeks over the summer (dates to be determined for 2010), Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM ~ we
will be offering a core program for girls only ages 9-12 for $195 per week. * Space is limited *
If you need your child to stay beyond the core program, you may register her to stay until 5:30 each day for an additional
$100 per week.
The Hoofprints summer program for girls uses the magical power of horses to build self-worth, self-respect,
and healthy living. Through these hands-on meaningful activities, engaging in thought-provoking games and discussing
real life issues, participants will learn and have a strong sense of self-worth.
While having fun and working
with horses, participants will be focusing on developing identity, building confidence, self-esteem, and learning "All
About Me" through the horses. Program attendees will participate in crafts, learn about horseman- ship, learn horse
safety, and work with the horses all in conjunction with exploring about themselves, know the importance of communication,
and taking care of themselves, emotionally and physically.
