I would like to express our sincere
appreciation for the extraordinary Corporate Team Building experience we received at CaliCos Haven, Inc. When
I scheduled the team building session with you, I had no idea how powerful the experience would be for the staff ~ as individuals
and as a team.
By each individual working through the tasks that were designed
to be completed as a team, it helped them discover that each one of them is unique and they each could contribute to the success
of the overall team. They were able to identify some of their strengths and weaknesses as team members
and how to use their individual strengths as a team. They realized that a team could have “shared
leadership” and each individual was able to see through experiential learning that they have the ability to lead the
team with their strengths and contribute to the team to get the tasks completed.
It was absolutely
amazing how the horses provided the metaphors for life during the team building exercises. The staff was
able to process this information and benefit from the experience not only at the workplace but also at home. As
a manager, I observed the exercises and learned more about the staff as individuals which allowed me to see how I could help
them as a team. Since we attended the Corporate Team Building clinic, I have used the information I learned
a number of times within other departments and the entire school. One of the most critical points, among
the many of which we became aware, was our observation that with “rules you must have consequences; and without consequences,
then you do not have any rules.” This has proven to become very beneficial in many situations working
with the staff.
Again, I would like to thank you for such a tremendous “team building” experience and I compliment you
on the professional facilitation of this incredible experiential learning experience. It was marvelous.
